What a wonderful day!!!

June 19, 2010

Mehl ,Martha, Jan with Cousin's Judy & Vic

Judy and Vic Chaney our cousin came to OK City to be with us at Prix de West art show at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in June. We had a wonderful time seeing Mehl's bronze's and all the art work in the museum. We gave Martha, Mehl's girlfriend a real dose of family! But she passed and we look forward to more of her.

Princess Macee? No Princess Janee'

Peace Chapel hosted a Mother Daughter Tea. Everyone was to wear a hat! So, Macee and Mom made hats for Macee, Grammie, Gramma, Aunt Jean. Macee opted to wear Mom's hat, and it left Mom to rustle up a different hat! Was that Macee's or Mom's????? She is the Queen now :)

Macee

Miss Macee, now 5 1/2, just celebrated her "Half" birthday on April 7th!

Cute car! That should be a boy magnet for sure. Thanks to Mehleena for her fine artwork....

High Desert Princess

This is a bronze that my brother sculpted several years ago. There is a life-size of it at the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Texas. This bronze was ordered and purchased by the White House to be given by President and Mrs. Bush to Queen Elizabeth on her visit to the United States.

Here the President and Mrs. Laura Bush are presenting the bronze to the Queen and her husband. May 2007

Can you believe that Macee is the older??
Jacob was born Nov. 1 2003 and Macee on Oct. 7, 2003. Jacob outweighs Macee by several pounds. You can really tell it when you hold them.
